Thank you for choosing to send your car to Car Heaven! You've made the right choice for your old vehicle.

By sending your car to Car Heaven you:

• are ensuring that your vehicle will be responsibly recycled. All the hazardous components will be removed and diverted from the landfill, parts that can be reused will be salvaged, and the steel will be recycled, and
• will receive a charitable tax receipt from one of the affiliated charities of your choice

 

Follow these easy instructions to get the process started:

1. Complete the Car Heaven donation form.
2. Print the Car Heaven Thank You page at the end of the donation form to record your participation in the program.
3. Complete the Ownership/Registration (original) with a manual or electronic validation stamp on it and Proof of Insurance.
4. Mail the signed Application for Transfer portion of your Ownership to:
   Car Heaven
   c/o Ontario Automotive Recyclers Association
   1447 Upper Ottawa Street – Unit #1
   Hamilton, ON  L8W 3J6

 

What happens next?
After your Ownership has been received:

• Within the next two weeks you will be contacted by a member of the Alberta Automotive Recycling & Dismantling Association to arrange the pick-up of your old vehicle.
• Within the next three months you will receive your charitable tax receipt in the mail.

 

Please note:
Donated vehicles must be easily accessible for pick-up. Vehicles will not be picked up if they are parked in an underground parking garage or alley. Please call the Car Heaven Call Centre at 1-877-755-6272 if you are unsure whether or not your vehicle can be accessed.

The donated vehicle needs to be complete, if your vehicle has been stripped of any parts, please confirm its eligibility by contacting the Car Heaven Call Centre at 1-877-755-6272.

All liens (parking tickets, etc.) must be paid off before the donation of your vehicle.

Free tows apply to vehicles within certain geographic areas. Please call the Car Heaven Call Centre at 1-877-755-6272 to confirm that pick-up is possible.

The donor is responsible for removing all personal items, including the license plates, prior to pick up by the automotive recycler. Car Heaven is not responsible for any items left within the vehicle.
